The Boathouse Cantina and Rivers Edge Bar & Restaurant have created a voluntary 1% donation program (from all of their sales) to benefit Salida Mountain Trails’ trail construction efforts, which has resulted in $8,454 raised for new trail construction in July and August alone! This has allowed SMT to contract professional trail building services that would not otherwise be possible! Proceeds from this program recently funded the newly-redesigned Burnpile Trail, and will also be used for construction of the new Southern Dreams Trail. These funds have also provided new signage for the Arkansas Hills Trail system.
