Banana Belt MTB Race

2024 Registration – NOW OPEN!

This year’s event will return to the classic location on Methodist Mountain! Enjoy some of the sweetest singletrack in Colorado. Race to be Top Banana, or party pace your way to the finish. 

Event proceeds support Salida Mountain Trails (SMT), a nonprofit that plans, builds and maintains singletrack in Chaffee County, Colorado. 

Registration includes FREE Banana Belt socks, and lunch/drinks at the finish.

Directions

The start/finish area is easily accessible by bike via a crosswalk on US50 at Milford St, that connects to a path in the Vandaveer Open Space. Follow the path to the Salida Mountain Trails tent. With plenty of free parking in town, this is what we recommend.

There will be limited parking available at the start/finish area, which can be accessed via County Road 104.

All participants get a free pair of socks (sizes S/M and L/XL). Riders may also purchase a T-shirt during the registration process (deadline to order: August 29), or on site at the event.
