Volunteer Trail Work – Hooligan

Help maintain Salida’s trails! Join us for a “ShinDig” (volunteer trail work day) on the trails around town. No experience required. We’ll provide tools, training and lunch.
We are going to be working on Hooligan for this shindig. It will be a 1.25 mile hike in from the Spiral Drive parking lot (carpooling encouraged!) and we will be primarily quarrying and setting rock armoring on a couple badly eroded sections.
It is going to be hard, heavy labor. There will be a couple of lighter jobs but for the most part we need people who are willing and able to move rocks on uneven terrain!
