Weather permitting, this Saturday we plan to do some work on the Double Rainbow Trail (also known as Little Rainbow Extension). The trail is in pretty good shape, but we plan to enhance a few areas. Specifically, we hope to improve two out-sloped corners, and will be re-establishing the trail tread where the upslope has collapsed onto the trail. We’ll meet at the upper CR110 trailhead parking lot, ready to depart for work at 9am. Be there a little early to sign waivers, talk about the work to be done, safety procedure reviews, and coffee drinking. As usual, come prepared with water, gloves, long pants, and sturdy boots. Tools will be provided.
