The Boathouse Cantina has created a voluntary one-percent donation program (from all of their sales) to benefit Salida Mountain Trail’s trail construction efforts. This check for $20,000 represents the total amount collected for all of 2018! How does it work? 1% is added to the pretax food/beverage bill and patrons can opt out if they wish. In addition, The Boathouse Cantina matches an additional 10% of the total collected. This money was used to help fund construction of the Spartan East and Spartan West Trails.
