Over the past couple of months, we’ve been transitioning from paper membership cards to a new digital format. This change will make it easier for members to use perks at local businesses, and it will make it easier for us to manage our growing membership program so we can spend more time focused on building and maintaining trails.
We just completed that transition, which makes now a great time to become an SMT member or renew your membership.

What’s new?
Instead of getting a paper membership card in the mail, you’ll now get a digital one from Cardskipper, an app 400+ organizations worldwide use for membership management. (Your digital membership card will come via email a few days after you join/renew; we have to send them manually.)
It’s entirely free to use Cardskipper. It takes 2 minutes to set up following instructions you’ll get in that email with your membership card.
Here’s what it looks like: 
Regardless of whether or not you use Cardskipper, your membership will be valid for one year from the date you join/renew.
