Come on out to our ShinDig this Saturday and help us build part of our new trail, Chicken Dinner! One section of this trail is just begging to be hand-built, so that’s exactly what we’ll do. We’re planning to build around 450ft of new trail: the first section of Chicken Dinner, off the Sweet Dreams trail.
We’ll meet at 9:00am in the F-Street parking lot, and shuttle over to the Sweet Dreams trailhead. Be there a little early to sign waivers, talk about the work to be done, safety procedure reviews, and coffee drinking. As usual, come prepared with water, gloves, long pants, and sturdy boots. Tools will be provided.
Lunch/party sponsored by Absolute Bikes to follow!

Salsa Closure Begins December 15: The portion of the Cottonwood Trail that’s been dubbed “Salsa,” which runs from CR175 to CR173, is closed due to wildlife concerns from December 15 – March 15. Please respect this closure, as future trail access could depend upon how well this and other wildlife closures are followed! Note that only the Salsa trail is closed–Rumba and Cottonwood proper both technically remain open all year if conditions permit, as do CR 181 and CR 173.
