Memberships run for one year from the date of your donation.
Monthly donations reduce SMT’s administrative overhead, and gives us more confidence when budgeting trail development and maintenance.

We have discontinued membership cards now that we have a better system in place to manage memberships. You’ll now get a confirmation email with membership information at the time of your donation, and receive notifications when it’s time to renew. (With a monthly membership, you won’t need to worry about renewing at all!)
This means you no longer need the Cardskipper app.
Put simply, mo’ money means mo’ trails which means mo’ fun for all of us! Your donation also covers operating expenses including trail tools, insurance, and our staff.
A large and active membership also gives us a greater voice in working with land management agencies such as the City of Salida, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Forest Service (USFS) to plan more trails. In effect, your membership is a show of support for the importance and value of trails and public land!
Please reach out to us first at info@salidamountaintrails.org and ask about the benefits of being a corporate sponsor.
You can give any amount to SMT here.
Please note: You must present your membership card (digital or print) at the time of purchase to receive the following discounts. This makes it easy for our business sponsors to verify membership, and makes it easy for them to provide these perks to members like you.
Particicpating Salida bike shops offer 5% off purchases (excluding bikes) until membership expiration:
You don’t have to be a member to volunteer with us on our trail work days. Our membership program provides a way for those who can’t necessarily work on trails to support our trails. Of course, we welcome and encourage trail volunteers to become members as well, and vice versa! Either way, it’s all about building and maintaining trails for the enjoyment of us all.
