We will again be doing much needed maintenance on the Double Rainbow trail. It took a hit with our wet spring and summer, and could really use your help. Meet at 9am sharp at the upper parking lot of the Double Rainbow/Little Rainbow trailhead. Please wear sturdy boots, long pants and weather appropriate clothing. Bring gloves, water, and sun screen. SMT will provide tools. Thanks to The Salida Bike Company for sponsoring this month’s event! We’ll have lunch and something to wash it down with afterward before we return home. Looking forward to getting some good work in this Saturday!
To reach the trailhead – from Hwy 50 turn south onto CR110 and go approx. 3 miles and the trailhead will be on the left. Go to the upper trailhead near the power lines (Double Rainbow trail start). For any questions, contact salidamountaintrails@gmail.com
